In hybrid education, some of the students are physically present in the lecture room, while the other part follows the lecture online.
Hybrid Learning Theater
On Roeterseiland, several lecture rooms are specially equipped for hybrid teaching. This space makes it possible for lecturers to combine online and physical education in an inspiring way. In the dynamic interactive environment students are encouraged to actively participate. The unique room arrangement allows the teacher to interact with all students. Watch the video about the HLT.
The HLT REC B1.03 can be booked by the faculty scheduler and the HLT REC M3.02 can be booked via hybridlearningtheatre-eb@uva.nl.
AV Resources
Most of the large lecture rooms have web cameras to record a lecture. On rooster.uva.nl you can find which AV resources are available per room. See for more information Web lectures(for staff only). You can also reserve a webcam (BRIO or OWL) for more possibilities.
