The AudioVisual Centre (AVC) is the UvA's media production and expertise centre with respect to image and sound. The AVC produces, supervises projects, offers support and provides free information and advice on the use of image and sound in technical, organisational and didactic level, within the UvA and beyond

What is the AVC (in short)?

The AVC can be of service to you and advise you about its various forms of productions and services (without obligation). The team has a video and sound studio, video editing rooms and a video conference room. Think for example of

  • innovations in education and research
  • realisation of promotional films, MOOCs, knowledge clips, web lecutres, webinars and video training courses
  • web lectures and the do-it-yourself variant, UvA ClipMaker
  • Open Online Video (including iTunes and YouTube)
  • streaming media
  • the AV infrastructure for congresses and halls
